Well not too long back I received an email from a lovely sounding Australian couple who wanted to get married at the amazing Lords of the Manor Hotel in Upper Slaughter - the Cotswolds district and only a stones throw from the spar town of Cheltenham.

We met at their rather prestigious venue over the most delish coffee in the drawing room. I arrived early and always keen to take a picture, photographed the lovely posies of wild roses that adorned my chess board coffee table :)

Over the last few months I have been rather busy with both wedding shoots at some stunning venues and also meeting some awesome couples planning their own special days for 2014.

Naturally I love to shoot weddings, documenting the day as it unfolds. It requires careful planning, reliable equipment and often me going and checking out a venue before the "big day". I do this to look for unique aspects that I can include in my images just to keep each couples photographs fresh and not duplicates of other couples that have been there before. After all, each couple is completely different and their day is special and unique to them so why shouldn't their photos be also?

When Leah first contacted me via email from Bahrain and wanted me to shoot her wedding, as you could imagine I was really stoked to say the least that she got my ethos and loved my style. As I read on she described both herself and Mark as rather un-photogenic and I thought "ah ha" we have a challenge ahead, and don't get me wrong I just love a challenge.

Well they jetted in the week before their wedding and we met in lounge of the very pretty Cotswold House Hotel in Chipping Campden which is only 20 mins from Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. Talk about under selling your self..... they looked lovely when they walked in holding hands! We sat down over coffee and I heard all about their plans for the wedding on the up and coming Saturday. Leah showed me some Pintrest type things she had gathered so that I got a sense as to what to expect on the day. WOW..... this was going to be awesome!

Last weekends wedding at the gorgeous Victorian Eastwood Park near Cheltenham in Gloucestershire went off without a hitch and gave me the chance to put some new gear through its paces and to capture some gorgeous shots of the lovely Chelsea & Callum.

The other morning whilst eating my breakfast I came across a Tweet from a great blogger requesting an image of a brides hand that she would require for her new online magazine "Alice in Weddingland", and was anyone able to help out. Immediately an image popped into my head of a lovely bride that I had the fantastic opportunity to shoot in beautiful Dorset last year and I just knew it it was edgy enough for such a fine publication.
